Actually, it was "How Green was my Valley" from 1941. Directed by John Ford too! I remember watching it with my dad on a Saturday TV matinee back in about 1973.

For us here, it's: The Sons of Katie Elder and El Dorado.
Both had typical Duke action and comedy at the same time.

How about that gal that plays Maudie in El Dorado (Charlene Holt)...man was she ever put together. I like both those flicks, along with Rio Bravo....classic Duke westerns!
