Thanks Charlie, That confirms that I installed mine correctly. Don't think I put the outside ones down, though. Sometime when I feel like wrestling the back seat I'll fix that. I wonder why they were done that way? The tag is below the seat level, so it wouldn't show either way.

Thanks for the pics of the latch,My car is a 68 LA car so I would think they were painted the same.
