Killer car! Great combination all the way around. It must have felt out of place in Ken Funk's shop surrounded by all those Mopar's.

Paul, will your J56 car be ready in June? I look forward to talking cars with you and the rest of the Texas boys at Bloomington Gold.

Steve, I think it's going to be tight to have it ready for BG, but I'll be there for sure. I don't know Tim, what should we bring?

My handle is SBR and I have been a member for about a year. I have been a Corvette nut since I was a child and my favorites have always been the L88s and 67 435s. Here are some pictures of my car. This car was purchased new from Larsen Chevrolet in Central City NB. The car sat in the showroom for several months because no one wanted the car due to its unusual color combo. They then painted the car Marina blue and were able to sell it. The car was then driven sparingly and was taken to local shows.

Fast forward to 1988, Dan Gale inspected the car and after looking at the trim tag, he realized that the car was an originally a black/blue car. He then had the tank sticker dropped to verify the options and colors on the car. The car was restored by Ken and Gary Naber and was sold to a Corvette collector. He then sold it to a teacher on the east coast who sold it to Kenn Funk.

I then purchased the car form Kenn and had Nabers rerestore the car. It still retains its original drivetrain and has won a Bloomington Gold certification, an NCRS Top Flight award and the Chevyvettefest Triple Crown award in 2006. I have been told that this is one of only 4 black/blue 67s known to exist. I truly enjoy this website.
Best Regards,
Steve Bramati

Bruce,
I forgot to mention that Chris Piscitello was instrumental in the purchase of this car and feel that it is important to mention as he has found all of my cars and has been a great friend over the years.

Thanks,
Steve

Wow!

That is just absolutely stunning. I could only imagine the looks on people's faces when that bad azz ride hit the showroom. The restoration is awesome.

It doesn't get much better than a black/blue 435 Coupe. Beautiful Car. One of the nicest restored 67's I have seen.

I thought you would like to see this picture. Not mine nor do I know the owner but it was entered for flight judging at the 2007 NCRS National in Boston.

Very cool Steve!!!!!!Without a doubt my favorite 67 Vette.I am sure this is giving Chris sellers remorse on his 400 air roadster.
