I have been very quiet about this car for many years and for whatever reason after owning it for almost 25 years decided to share my story tonight!

[/ QUOTE ]

Very cool story Keith and indeed thanks for sharing! I wish more people would open up and tell their stories about these unique cars as well as others that they have stuffed in their garages.

Steve,
1000 hp! No "can I have it" comments. How about just, "can I have a ride in it????"

Garrett GT35 turbos and intercooler. Custom professional system design, fab and install by Nevarez Racing Products, Gil Nevarez, here in LV. The Garrett TT and ProCharger forced induction systems for the new LS7 and LS2 engines are marketed exclusively thru NRPLV: 702-499-1222 We offer various phases/levels of conversion ranging from bolt-on, cam, head work, pistons/rods, and exhaust while using the factory CPU module and 1 year limited warranty with 49 state emmisions. Both systems tuck under the factory hood without body modifications or apparent conversion ques.

We're an HRE Performance Wheel distributor here in LV, so anyone thats shopping for custom wheels...let me give you a competitive price. These 345's on 12" X 20" HRE rear wheels mounted right up without mini-tub or shock relocation. Note how the tire/wheel stays inside the factory wheel well lip and retains the tire pressure sensor system.

Steve,
Those wheels/tires look awesome. I've driven an 06 Z06, 505 HP was impressive. Can't imagine what it will be like when you double it! Better order another set of those 345mm tires.

I had an idea Gil was involved, very cool. Come pick me up in Havasu - its 150 miles so I figure an hour maybe an hour and ten minutes.

SS, The car really looks nice. What kind of times are you hoping for with decent traction and drag radials? Mid to high 9s I'd say with a/c to boot!
