The flight presentation was absolutely first class. ![]() The Bell X-1 rocket plane launch was fantastic as well. I have to give the owner/polot a big ![]() inverted flight portion of the flight. That's a gutsy call for a plane this large and expensive. I'd like to see this flight in person to really appreciate it. Steve

On a serious note, 182K for a canopy malfunction is far better than some other malfunction that could have resulted in loss of the airplane and/or pilot. In the old days (1950s especially) crashes of new fighters were common and many streets on Edwards AFB are named after dead test pilots. |
