Early test pilots were true daredevils for sure. When I see footage of old time wing walkers, still makes me cringe...

Goodyear DC 3
Saw the AC a lot In Akron Ohio while at Goodyear Flight Operations until it was donated to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum in 1983. Operated by Goodyear Canada and it made frequent trips to Akron for business at Goodyear corporate.
I would say this might be the most pristine DC 3 in the world. Note the Canuck registration # on the tail Last edited by m22mike; 12-16-2020 at 04:29 PM.

My buddy called me to come see his new ride at his nearby hanger. Hurry Home Honey. A very well known storied P51. I asked if I could run her up but that was a no! lol While there I also got some shots of his Tucano. What a cool airplane.
