I recently purchased a '621 bell housing that was originally
attached to its matching L/71 ( never separated ). This bell housing has a heavy overspray around the entire perimeter of the mounting surface, with the exception of the clutch fork area. This area was left alone. It even has the original yellow pencil inspection mark. I bought it mainly because it was as originally painted and time has changed overspray if you get my meaning. I always try to purchase originally painted componentry what I can, as long as I have a reasonable expectation that they are indeed original. Steve
