The "Urban Legends and Folklore" site is the first place I go when I read things like this. I like to make sure before I send something out.
How many times has this girl been reported missing? The latest is an "Amber Alert" e-mail that's been going around. I thought she looked familiar and Urban Legends confirmed that, once again, it is a hoax.  I'm not saying stuff doesn't happen, I just like to check before I react.

i really can't remember when, but a year or so ago there was something like this going around in my area. can't recall where i got the information at that time but i do remember not flashing my lights at anybody.

[/ QUOTE ] Took a total of 30 seconds of time to forward a story that may save someones life if they just ignore a car with there lights off, myth or not, just being aware was worth all of the 30 seconds it took..

So what someone needs to do is drive around with a surplus bazooka and a flak jacket,and plating in the drivers door, and when these dip-s**ts take a pot shot, return the favor and incinerate the little buggers.
