MY TAKE ON IT IS IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY,YOU CAN OWN THE CAR. ITS THAT SIMPLE. ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO SPEND HUGE MONEY FOR ONE CAR USE THAT CAR AS A STATUS SYMBOL.IF THEY TELL YOU THEYRE NOT,THEIR FOOLING THEMSELVES.

This dude lives down the street from me. The ONLY time you ever see this guy out with his car is when he's participating in our local parade. He'll lead the parade and then park and greet all the kids as they enter the park for a big town celebration. Last time he did this it was with some lime green convertible cuda. The rest of the time his stuff is parked somewhere, hidden. I doubt he's looking for, or needs any additional "status".
Personally, I'm in a quandry, cause he does a lot for kids, but beats the pi$$ outta grown ups for a living (yeah, it's only entertainment but...) |
