Tom,

Thanks for sharing this early information. Interesting that Royal Plum was one of the colors, any found of this color? That is the original color of "Little Hoss". Another interesting note, is that Mills Chevrolet of Moline, Ill. one of the listed early dealers, is the same dealer my other 1967 Z28 came from. It was raced at Cordova, just a few miles north of Moline, which is about 100 miles north of LaHarpe.

Another early dealer was Shalla Chevrolet, of Detroit Michigan. An August of 1967 CarCraft "Straight Scoop" notice about Dick joining forces with Don Yenko mentions that Shalla received one of the first Yenko conversions.

Ken, I knew Mills was a Yenko dealer, but have never been able to verify that one went through the dealership. I did hear a rumor that the one they supposedly had wound up at Fred's dealership. All rumors from old memories.
Yes your white Z ran at Cordova. I seem to remember that it had an L88 in it at one time. I worked with the owner for years. A very unique individual to say the least. Schonye

what was don thinking applying to nhra as the manufacturer of the super camaro w/ designed and engineered by dick harrell all over his advertisements and fob out of st.louis where dick's shop was at that time, no wonder why they didn't let it fly, how would a tech inspection work back then if nhra allowed them to bring some for inspection before final denial? What class was he applying for modified or super stock??

Im going to dig up a really old topic here... My brother had a camaro body traded to him back in the late 90's. Title says its a 67 Yenko Camaro and numbers match. Has a paint code for Nantucket Blue. Is anyone familiar? I doubt ill be able to log on here again for a while so anyone with any information they might have about it please Email me. [email protected] And before im blown up with questions about its condition it has been stripped for years sitting in storage waiting for him to put it together one day. And its located in the NFL AFC area.. No i wont say exactly where, but you get an idea.

Never seen a title that called out the dealership in its description of the car.

Now that you say that though That really doesnt make any sense... I wonder why that would be on the title.. When he had the title transferd into his name even the new title had it on there.. conversion yenko.
