Got to be a record amount for a frame! Is this a 70's one and not a 60's? I thought the 60's had white painted letters?

Does anybody else think this looks like a re-chrome? The plating to me looks much more polished than any of my NOS or original plate frames, and the lettering has a rounded off look where the edges of original characters are usually very crisp..
