I know the basis of this site are the COPO 427s, ZL1s, Yenkos, Bergers, Danas...etc. These are mostly 427s with an advertised HP rating of 425. Going by the HP rating alone, would the LS6 Chevelles and L88 Corvettes be concidered Supercars? These both had a higher advertised HP rating than the L72 cars.

In my opinion: HELL YES! Who among us would not consider an LS6 Chevelle a Supercar? An L88 Corvette not a Supercar??? Oh man, don't go there.

actually i agree with you and 427TJ, but the fact of the matter is, when people in this business refer to a "supercar" we all really know what that means.
