A friend of mine has a '68 Camaro with a front bench seat...now you know of 3...don't got pics though...the car was just a plane jane '68...it is now being turned into a pro-touring car with 18" crage s/s rims, air-ride suspension and a 502 crate motor.....it should be neat when done..... I've even seen a few with the Deluxe interior bench seat. Much more rare IMO.

Bench seat was not available after 68, so you wont see any second generation cars with it.

I saw a bench seat for sale at Super Chevy (Atlanta) this year. I think the guy was asking about $500 for it. It was in perfect condition too. Wished I had got it now. It was the only one that I have ever seen. Oh well.

There was one for sale A few miles from me early this summer and had been nicely recovered in blue. If anyone is interested I can give the guy A call and see if he still has it.

I've only seen one bench seat. It was a 68 L30 with a column shift Powerglide no less.
I ran across some of those after market 'Hot Girls'. There were times that I cursed that console and floor shifter if ya know what I mean...(Grinning)

"Bench seat was not available after 68"
I have seen a 1969 Firebird with the bench, and it was definitely original. So I always assumed that 69 Camaros could have had it too. I have never seen a 69 Camaro with one though. |

How about this one. Never could get the trim tag info from the owner so I don't know if it's original or not. But if it is, it would have to be a very early 69. Bench seat is not a listed RPO for 69.
