It is a fake car. I have found the reading is the key to everything.

"What you are bidding on is an exact copy of a ZL1 COPO with a date coded correct REAL 1969 ZL1 BLOCK that has been placed in a 1969 Camaro Coupe."

I think the fakeness is pretty clear and well disclosed. I guess what I'm interested in finding out is, based on it probably being a small block car to start with, does anyone think it's worth $80000+? You could of bought Clint's disassembled RS COPO and stuck a ZL-1 in it for about the same money... Come to think of it, why didn't I do that?

If the engine is a "real" COPO engine maybe it should hold more value than a "home-made or crate" 427 car. But then again, a # matching car is worth more than a hot rod. If someone who is a true collector or a real enthused hobbiest, why on earth would they by a car that someone built in their garage? There have been several oppertunities (on this board alone) to purchase REAL COPO cars. My opinion.
