Nice to hear, helps alleviate my concern that after my best efforts the boys end up with a Honda, My little Danny is quite excited about his Camaro too, hard to get him out of it,

As impractical as Mikes Nova is, he will not part with it. I almost bought him a Subaru for school but he said he'd rather take the bus and train. Let them bust their knuckles on the car and they will be in it for life. and HAVE FUN !

Front suspension broken down, new suspension items pressed in, frame out, blasted - primed - high build & sanded, firewall almost done. Then it's time for some reassembly for a change, pics to come. Was planning on a bit more progress, but with this excellent weather - the Jr Dragster racing season has begun!

IMHO, getting the kids involved is invaluable and will create life long memories. Building the car is a process, just like anything in life.

Looking great!

So, found some of the latest pics - making progress. We usually make about 1 large order of parts per year, just received this year's order and our goal is to fire the engine sometime this year. That's a tall order given what you see in these pics! But, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

No frame!

Clean frame! Lots of undercoating on this car, kept the frame really nice. Can still see the forming marks on it from the factory:

Lots of green overspray on this car - from front to back, sometimes all the way into the driveshaft tunnel:

Kids sure grow fast! Remember this little guy? Age 4:

Now age 10:

Taking his time, no runs, nice, even coverage:

Nice job Ben!

Sometimes it's easy to forget that he's just 10 - and when he gets cold and wants to play video games he'll just hide out in the car! You can barely see his head as he's shrunken down in the front seat:
