Did you fall and hit hour head ?? You are a Chevrolet Man...
Besides, you already have a Nova that is, at least, as fast as this Mustang...
It IS a cool find and rare car in super clean condition from hibernating for so long.

The first batch of '135' 428 CJ cars were built off of S-code 390 cars. They didn't change the stamped VIN in the apron. The new R code VIN was (confusingly) used in other places. A build quirk of these cars. Good luck bidding NAPA, I too have a lust for these.

I love the 135 cars. Russ Davis Ford received 6 cars total including 135045, 135044 in that previous auction, and 135028 which I actually got to touch today. This auction car was quite the find, I remember the article.

Does anybody remember the Car Craft (I think) article from the ‘80’s where a fella had a 135 ex-drag car ‘68 CJ Mustang? It had the remnants of traction devices on the axle tubes, etc. and he was trying to figure out exactly which car he had. I wanna say he was leaning towards it being the ex-Paul Harvey car but there was no concrete evidence to prove exactly what car it was but with today’s information it’s probably solvable.
