It’s there in one of the pictures. That’s not where it’s giving it’s where the rod goes into the visor.

There should be a metal sleeve in the visor to pinch the rod enough to hold it in place. You may need to carefully compress the sleeve together more to get the friction needed.

I see the sleeve thing inside the visor , I had thought about squeezing it somehow without damaging the visor material. Channel locks with rags between the jaws might work.
