70 Chevelle SS396 convertible
Build Sheet, "L" trim tag Sold new in Ohio, and was bought out of Texas in 1989, disassembled for restoration, and has been sitting since 1992. Clean and clear title. Cortez Silver, no-stripes, Black top, Black buckets L34 350hp/ M40 / 3.31 open. Original drivetrain is all gone. Has 70 dated 2.73 posi 12-bolt in it, but the original engine, trans, and rear end are gone. Very solid car. Nice floors. Needs trunk pan. Partial quarters were done poorly 30+ years ago. Fenders appear to be NOS, but stripped and primed. Hood is correct 1st version early-70 dome hood in excellent condition. Rockers and inner rockers very solid. Driver's door has one pinhole where a mouse-nest was. I have many more pictures, including video of doors and quarters in bare-metal to show actual condition.
