Default New glass and gasket for rear view mirror

Mirror on my 70 LT-1.

Would like to re-use the body. Other than being dirty, it is fine.

Where can I buy just the glass and the gasket (if that is what you call the rubber strip)?

Lynn, I'm not a Corvette guy so not sure what is and isn't available repop, but on the 2nd Gen Camaros, the OER replacement rear view mirror can be easily disassembled and the gasket and mirror glass transfers direct to the original housing. Are there any reasonable repop mirrors for your LT-1 that can sacrifice the mirror and gasket?

OER seems to be the only supplier of a repop and that mirror is listed for many models and years. Maybe you could find an used one with a good mirror and gasket ? Or for $60 buy one and see if it interchanges. ? Can't copy off OER's website, so the link opens their page with the list of applications.
If you buy one and don't like it, I will buy it from you. I need one for my Camaro... LOL

Bought an OER. Will update when it gets here.

Plenty of sources for the mirror glass part. None for the gasket that I could find.

Is Joyce Borell the "mirror lady" still around? On the recommendation of many here several years ago she restored my interior rearview mirror perfectly and might be of some help.
