I don't think Tim would mind me letting folks know I purchased this car from him. I sold a car and my goal was to downsize, but we all know how that goes. I started thinking how a blue/blue 390 sidepipe roadster really was a car I couldn't passup. It's a twin to my yellow 390 sidepipe '67 and very drivable. I'll pick up where Tim left off with cleaning the chassis of its past "orange" modification. My goal is to have this car at the Texas Regional in 2024 or 2025 and eventually Bloomington Gold. Tim was great to work with.

That picture was just too irresistible, eh !! He has "freshened" a number of cars anyone would be proud to own. Congratulations...

Not at all!!

I must admit a bit of remorse, as the car responded so well to all of the little things that were done. I have FOND memories of driving the car this summer. I logged almost 1500 miles on the car. Just a pleasure to drive.

Glad to see it's going to a great caretaker and a friend! Now I can focus on my injected 65 and get that ready to campaign in 2024.

Tim didn't like the way the clutch felt so he replaced it before sending the car off. It was the original clutch.

Bill, your '67 Corvette is one I've always admired and it's very similar to your blue/blue Bow Tie car. I don't think this one is Bow Tie quality, but still a very original Corvette.

Tim S. you almost got a text from Dave and I after a few barley sodas into a conversation about you selling this car. Dave deduced that it was going to Texas.....congratulations to both Tim's. Great car and great people.
