That's a fair comment. I think many just consider Grumpy "special", but your comment is accurate - he was just a regular guy

... In 1969, WATTS Motor Co., Williamsburg, Va. Sponsored the car and was advertised on the side of the Camaro at that time.
... I will be building the 1969 396/375 Motor that they gave him to race with at that time.

The reason I have to ask so many questions is because the current list of "Found" 1967 396/375 Camaros is not readily available to the general public or even those that help contribute to the Registry of these cars like what is done with the Supercar Registry.
... Maybe one day it will be.
I am sure that other cars will be found and added to the list if that happens.
... For now, I will just keep asking questions for those that will choose to contribute to the information and knowledge that they have learned ... much like you have
... and that is greatly appreciated.
CRG has been a great source of knowledge on all years of Camaros and I am thankful for that.
Thanks for your help and encouragement !

I don't know how the Grumpy order was placed, but I think it had to be through a dealer. Not sure why it went to Detroit.

... Thanks Kurt.
... I feel blessed to even own a Camaro that was built so early, drag raced it's entire life and has still survived in this condition with the Original Paint.
... Thanks for your continued help in preserving the history of the Camaro.
... I will continue to put this old drag car back together.
... Thanks
