Beautiful car. How comfortable are the front seats?

They are nice. They seem to be the same seats as in our 2014 Charger - nice and wide for us "full figured" guys.

The hood stripes finally arrived yesterday. I took around 4 hours to get them exactly matched in terms of location. Lots of taping down and measuring with a yardstick and masking tape to get them in the exact same spot on the multi curved hood surface.
I like how it turned out. It accents the hood scoops very well and makes them pop up from the surface now. My wife actually said this is the coolest car we have ever had! (and she drove a Viper before we got married!) My son really likes it too, though he is bummed he can't drive it. I made a wager with him that if he got straight A's this semester at college, he could drive it. (He's in his junior year as a math major, chemistry minor). The grades just posted. Soooo close: four A's and one B. As a consolation prize we drove it to the gym this afternoon and did a Crossfit WOD together. Hey, the kids got abs, what does he need a cooler car for anyway? (he drives a Camaro) ![]() Last edited by njsteve; 05-25-2022 at 12:45 AM. |

The stripes do look great.
As for the son not getting to drive it...with the course load he must have for those 2 you listed, I think he deserves a short drive for that monumental effort. I couldn't accomplish that in 30 years... ![]()

Yeah you’re right. I already warned him about the horrible Pirellis on the car. We might have to get a set of Michelins Pilot Sport 4S’s or even the Nitto race tires. It’s dangerously tractionless without them.

So close! Was the B in a math or chemistry course, or an elective?
Cool stripes! |

It was one of his advanced insane math courses that I can’t even begin to understand even when he explains it to me.

Believe me, I get it. Mrs. Anthony teaches a math class called MATH187 (OR) and rolls her eyes every time I say that class must be murder, which is every time it comes up mind you.

My son and I went to the local cruise night on Saturday. He brought his Camaro and I brought the Heckitty. I saw several people walk by the car and then tilt their heads and come back and look again. It was the stripes! It seems that at various light angles, those burgundy stripes completely disappear and then if you hit the right angle, they pop back out at you. It's like one of those 3D stickers from the 1970's. I had a lot of positive responses. Just one negative vote from some old crabby guy. (older than me). It was funny - his wife told him to shut up and keep walking. Apparently she liked them. LOL
