It's the glass that Auto City Classics sells although I believe it's an offshore product. They have it in clear, green tint or grey tint and I've used it a couple of times now. Fit's nice and they can date code any way you require it. This order was all dated XV with LOF markings.

LOL...me too actually. Adding something that helps change the look of the car really helps to keep me motivated. when major pieces like glass go in, it changes the whole look of the car and helps you see more light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm sure you're new build is going to be doing the same for you and I really like that new hood you just picked up. When is yours going into the body shop?

Started on the driver's side yesterday but progress was a little slower due to a couple of small hiccups. Those were sorted last night and the quarter glass was finished up. This morning I'll drop the door glass in and this side will wrap up quickly. Once the glass is done we're going to pull the front clip as I think I can get it fitting slightly better.

That will also allow me more room to work with when dropping in the motor, transmission and those M/T styled headers.

This car is coming out amazing; is the previous owner following the build? Just curious if he likes seeing the car come back to life.

I believe Fred Lennert (previous owner to me) is following the build and looks in from time to time. I also sent a link to the original owner so he could follow along if he likes. I have been sending him the odd update and we have stayed in touch just as recently as a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps they will one day sign in here and add a few comments.

If they are viewing, they may perhaps like to know that I now have a line on a DZ 302 motor and M21 transmission for this car although it won't likely happen until sometime after Covid is behind us. That would allow me to put this car back to a factory 302 drive train at some point in the future.

More on that later as some time is required for this.

Thanks for confirming glass supplier.
I’m adding a passenger side door mirror too (it’s a requirement down here for road use of LHD vehicles) and wondered if you located it further to the rear than the factory put the driver side, or same measurement?

Sorry Tim, but I didn't install the right side mirror. It was on the car and showed up in pictures dating back to at least the '80s. Mirrors are both off right now so I just checked and it appears to be located 1" back from the left side with the leading hole drilled at 5-1/2" back from the front edge of the door,
