I've had this lonely, vintage 1972 tachometer for decades, just waiting for a car to attach it to...such a sad little tach looking for a forever home. Won't you help?
Now, all we need is Sally Struthers to narrate the commercial appeal. Last edited by njsteve; 04-01-2020 at 11:49 PM. |

Seeing this car become roadworthy, makes me regret selling my 1970 340 ‘cuda project that still wore its factory Limelight Green paint.
Can’t keep ‘em all, eh :-( Living vicariously through you Dave! |

Hahaha! Oh man, that’s a chuckle! Good one, Steve!
No, you can’t keep them all, that’s the truth. Sometimes for a car to get the respect it needs a tag-team effort is needed. We’re all caretakers of these gemstones and each of us does a little to help it along. Fortunately for me, my Automotive Determination Disorder makes me want to fix everything and anything and therefore, when one sells another is either on going to ease the pain or another shows up! ![]() Cheers ![]() Dave |

Attention all Users: This is a public service announcement. The following is a paid non-political statement regarding a transfer of ownership, right here on Yenko.net.
“Let the wurd go fourath from this day forwerd, that the tourch has been pahsst to a new generashun of Yenkonians. Ahhsk not, what this Cuda can do for you. Ahhsk what NJSteve, can do for this Cuda.” ![]() Steve has taken a page from the Book of Dave. Nag until the other party can’t stand it and caves in to your wishes! It worked for me getting the Beater Bee, the Crusty Cuda, and even Kelly the Wife! ![]() But fear not! The next stage of this legacy thread has now taken the next step towards the ultimate MCACN display next year; Paint!!!!!! ![]() It was a hard decision to make. Actually, you’s guys know me, so no it wasn’t. ![]() ![]() So stay tuned as there’s more to come. As fast as it came together it’ll come back apart. At least now we all know it runs!!!! ![]() Cheers ![]() Dave |

Just getting back to my roots since I started with a slew of shakered 'Cudas 40 years ago. Funny thing is, now all those parts are reproduced better than original and readily available. Whodathunk that quarter panels, fenders, elastomeric bumpers, full grill sets and interior panels in multiple colors would be available just a "pay now" click away.
Here's a selection of some of my old projects in "before" shape: a 383 auto ragtop (free from a junkyard in Denver), a 440+6 four speed ragtop (hauled up from Miami), and a hemi auto ragtop (drug out of a blizzard in Wisconsin). As funny as it seems, I have never had a small block Mopar musclecar before (other than my Gramma's green '71 318 Satellite Sebring but that doesn't count). This should get interesting. Team Jersey Boys, begins today. Last edited by njsteve; 04-06-2020 at 09:13 PM. |
