No need to worry about being argumentative – we're discussing cars, and it's never concrete, black/white, etc.
But, indeed, the Torino and Ranchero were built on the same platform, so it would be easy to assume equipment was similar. Alas, not everything in the muscle car world is consistent, so I can't make the claim with 100% certainty without proper evidence, which I don't have. All I can say is that the brochure gets the hp rating wrong, and I wouldn't be surprised if more was wrong....like the gearing info. Your mention of Mustang is moot. |
