Gents, thanks for the responses. Sounds like a good flooring material. I'll share this with my brother.

Looking for a new floor for my new garage also, so I hope I don't offend anyone. Do you guys with the race deck flooring actually do auto repairs in your garage or pull the car out and do them? Some of these garages are beautiful and spotless. I'm sure I'm not the only one to pop out that freeze out plug and have antifreeze go everywhere? knock over that bottle of oil, or take out an exhaust and and have all those little rusty particles hit the floor. Are these things that easy to maintain. How often do you take up the entire floor and clean underneath it? Is this floor more for show or is this really something the backyard mechanic would put down in his garage.

Rubber stall mats ...

Used in trailers & garages - if you spill gas or oil or ? - you just replace that section.

You can take them with you when you leave - easy to clean too ...

This is what is in my enclosed trailer :

$40 for a 4 ft. x 6 ft. mat = $1.60 square foot.

I have those rubber stall mats in wife's horse barn and if you drive over them they move around. Then you kill your back trying to get them back in place.

I'd worry about deck rot with them too.

I had a custom alteration done to one of there designs so I could install the tiles with a parquet look. So far, I like them. Fast shipping and easy to work with. I say go for it.

Thank you. It's still a long way from being completed. Still needs trim, baseboards, new entry door, etc. Never liked my garage to look like a "garage". I prefer it to look like another room in the house.
