----I could be wrong, but I believe this LS6 was in the Carl Strohm collection for many years. Carl was a good friend and this car is a beauty. Pity who it belongs to!

Yes, I believe you are correct. I think there was a sign with it at Bloomington Gold saying it was previously from the Carl Strohm collection.

This 70 Camaro AA/Funny Car body is the original body that was on Dick Harrell's car in '70. This 70 body was returned to Don Hardy's shop when the '71 bodies came out. Dick installed a '71 body on his '70 chassis and that is the car Dick was driving when he was killed in '71. This chassis was recreated to match the original chassis. This car is only used for Cackle Fests and runs on 100% Nitro. B. Potterfield had this car at the show and cackled it several times during the day.

----Bill was also at the Eye's on Design at the Edsel Ford estate a week before MCACN. It was good touching base with Bill as I hadn't seen him in a few years at least. Sad, as his wife has passed, but Bill is still cookin along. Same guy I raced back in the early 90's!....Bill S

This Saddle Bronze 63 Lemans has a Butler Performance 535ci engine producing around 700 horsepower. It also has a rare two-piece bathtub tunnel ram intake. It has a conventional automatic trans and 12 bold rearend. These cars came from the factory with a trans axle and a two-speed automatic. It's my understanding from talking with the owner that this car had a 421 Super Duty engine installed in it by Royal Pontiac early in its life. T. Rehr had this car at the show.
