Does the edge look smooth or is it rough cut at all? I have had open element "bases" that were actually snorkel type bases that had the outer part cut off. Good head scratcher.

Jason </div></div> Edge is very smooth. If this was cut out of another air cleaner, someone had some great tools and skill.

I wish I knew what it was - it just might be the perfect thing for me to use on my Q-jet with a reproduction '66 L79 nova lid for a "period correct" "faux stock" appearance on my '65 Chevy II.
