That is cool, your never too old to have fun. And i bet he has some great stories and could teach the younger ones a few tricks.

Great. Get that thing out and use it. I love driving my dinosaurs. Putting them up on pedestal is just not fun unless your to old to drive them. My dad helps me when I need a hand and I made him drive my race car. It was nice to share the hard work we put into keeping them running. Get that 12 second slip, cant wait to see a 302 run a good number. You what it takes and where the weak links are. Dan

Ditto. I took mine out today for a grocery store run. Last weekend it was at the racetrack (as seen in post below).

That's the great thing about having something a little rough around the edges without show car paint - I don't feel bad about actually enjoying it!

Just an update with this. We Day 2'd the car after I finally found some original patina parts such as the NMW tow tabs, the MAS big slapper bars, and the original round spoke Cragars and some Hi-Jackers.

I also found some very nice original black interior parts over the past few years and finally got around to installing them along with a nice shallow walnut wheel. I also installed a nice original 1969 shifter assembly but put a Day 2 Hurst knob in black on it. I didn't replace the faded carpet to keep with the patina look. Here's the before and after.

I love the new look of your Camaro, perfect Day 2.

Are those 15x8 or 15x10's?
