What is the plate made of ? Plastic. I need to get some made for my cars. What are the dimensions? the phone number prefix is wrong its supposed 839 not 836. they must have misprinted it back in the day.

The plate is a thin cardboard. The size is 12 x 6 Top letters 1 1/2 tall, second row 1 and 3rd row 3/4 of an inch tall.
The prefix is correct all the paper work the order sheet, invoice, warranty all have that same number. They must have change it at a later date. Hope this helps you.

Default Re: Auran Chevrolet, Minot ND

I inspected the POP a bit closer today. Found the line for original engine assembly date a codes. It has the EG in the POP indicating the L78 396. Also found axle code. It was a 373 posi. Seller of the car mentioned a story about Motion Industries and that is where the 427 came from. It took me 3 month to make the deal on this car. None of this info was even considered. Bonus...I did not put too muck stock in the story before purchase. But now looking at additional owner info it could be possible. Additional owner was in Red Bank NJ. That was around 100 miles from Long Island NY. Crazy the trails these old cars lead you.
