Made some more progress over the last couple weeks. Finished up the interior, put an oil and water temp gauge in, for the upcoming fire the new motor party!!



I got the fenders out. They needed some work. I repainted all the areas where the bolts had scratched the paint. Then sanded and buffed out the paint on both fenders.





I installed the wheel wells, before the fenders.



Installing the fenders. I put an old sheet down to prevent scratching. Then when the fender is in place, I remove it.





I took a ride to upstate NY to pick up the exhaust today.





Here's a couple shots of the car as it is now.





Next, I will get the exhaust installed, then the hood, and front bumper, headlight bezels, which I'm painting. I also will be sanding and buffing the doors and quarters, like I did with the fenders.

Then it's time to fire the motor. If that goes well, the Nova's a finished project.

I currently own a 1969 Camaro SS350. Although the original drivetrain is long gone, this 4/speed car has a March '69 HC coded block with #041 heads. The transmission is an M20 Muncie #660 case and the rearend is a BS coded 12 bolt posi. Built in Van Nuys.
