Pretty sad to see how poorly things are being handled in your area. The report we saw this morning indicated MORE people without power today than yesterday. Blaming the snow from the current storm.

NJ Steve, hope you are doing well, still have many friends in the Long Beach area with no homes or power. One buddy in Island Park only returns to his home at night to protect what little is left, no power so he is burning his oak floors (which were under 3" salt water)for heat.

We finally got the power back on friday night after 12 days. Once the trucks showed up, it took only an hour to get it on line again. We'd still be in the dark if it wasnt for my crazy neighbor lady who went down to the JCPL office and recreated a Jack Nicholson scene worthy of oscar nomination. Imagine something between The Shining and the courtroom scene in A Few Good Men.
