Car was a Z-28 from the factory, so it came with a 10-bolt and 350 LT-1 330HP in 71. 1970 was the last year for a 12-bolt in Camaros.

The 72 Camaro that I looked at that was converted in 1976 was a phase 3 454 automatic car built off a base model 307. It had a th-400 in it,and the stock born with 10 bolt posi with 4.10 gears installed. Not all motion cars had 12 bolts. </div></div> Hey Rich, Are you sure the car was cut up?? Was hoping to find that car some day. I offered the guy $3500 for the car and he declined. He told me he had a $3500 offer for the motor alone..so may have been cut up. The only reason I did not give him the $5500 was because it had aftermarket t-tops added later. I figured that could never be fixed. Duhh !!! He had all the Motion paperwork and all. I beleive someone spent 10k in 76 to convert the car according to the Motion reciepts. You may remember better. One of them should of-could of.... Back to this car........WOWWWW...awesome ride !!!! Good Luck with the sale Rich !! |

Please ask the present or next owner to join us at MCACN this year with both of these gems for our third Motion Madness Reunion. This one really needs to be there and if it is still for sale, what better place to find a buyer? Bashton MCACN Managing Member |
