Great find, Jim is the guy to speak with. Since the car was apparently raced in the area you found it, information should be available. Does it have a Madellian certifying it as a vintage race car? If not you can work towards that.

----Yup, Daniel,,,That coupe either is a 67 or has 67 front fender scoops, and I think I can just barely make out the center back-up light, as well as the hood. All can and have been changed on mid-year Corvettes since forever! Love those fender flares. Cool Vette!!!......Bill S

Darrell,
Did you only work at Harry Mann in 66? My grandfather worked at Harry Mann as a used car salesman in the 60's and early 70's. I wonder if you remember him (Robert Hutcheson)? |

The b&W photo is a 67 front clip at the minimum.

He has a racing brake busness (http://www.porterfield-brakes.com/). He may know if it was his car or not and may also have pictures. |

The AP is for the production class that the car will compete in. With the Corvettes I think the small block cars raced under B producton, and the big blocks raced under A production class. Based on engine sze I believe. This car was was a big block as the one pictured so they would both be A Production cars. I have sent pics to Andy Porterfield. Lives nearby, so we will see.

Sir, You may already be aware, but H & R Dyno was located in near-by Covina, CA. They were on San Bernardino Road at the NE corner of Irwindale Ave. They overhauled the 302 in a 69 Z that I bought local in Covina in 1978. H & R left that location in the early 80's. Not sure if they closed shop altogether, or moved. Never heard that name again until now. Regards... 302Z
