That old crow Cumby wrote (actually using snail mail) Rick Mancuso inquiring about Deuces way back in 1970. He "settled" on a new LS6 from Fred Gibb!

1970 Yenko Deuce for sale on EBaY - Gobi Beige, 4 speed, p/s, sold from Mancuso in IL. The ad says 4k miles, but it's probably 104k. Car looks pretty solid, would make a nice project for someone - Alan Cardo??????? Nice pics, especially the vintage ones with the whitewall tires!

Oh man, this is killin' me! I'd even take a Gobi Beige one. Probably would need to sell my '69 Vette, '70 Nova, and get into the home equity line of credit to touch it. Sigh. But it'd be cool to have a twin of Marlin's car. Allen

When the Flint engine plant went through the whole series of replacement V8 engine block serial numbers,in this case starting with & including #20000 all the way up to & including #49999,they reused them again only this time by prefixing them with the letter A to designate that.
Breaks down as follows: CE=Chevrolet Engine. A=Revisited/reused LATE production serial number. 1=last digit for model year it was issued..1971. 31309=service engine blocks actual serial #. |
