1st design & to add a lil more to what all have said.
1968-69 Police w/396 w/solids. 1967-69 Chevelle-Camaro w/396 w/solids. 1966-69 Impala series w/427 w/solids. 1965-66 ALL w/solids. Alot of BB solid lifter springs became inferior as engine speeds increased.The warranty claims grew,so Chevrolet switched to spring #3970627 beginning with very late 69 & 1970 model production. |

Thanks all,I looked in the passenger car and truck catalog and completely forgot to look in Corvette.It was a very busy day today and kinda pushed this customer through without being totally finished.
