Dominics IHRA license passes

we took Dominic to make his IHRA license passes yesterday at Byron Dragway.i let him go all out this weekend and never touched the car except to add alcohol. he had to make 2 half track passes and 4 full 1/8th mile runs. as the day went on the car kept getting quicker.

run 1....10.96 @ 57.15 mph
run 2....10.92 @ 51.31 mph..both shutting off
run 3....10.79 57.89 mph
run 4....10.688 @ 58.33 mph
run 5....10.682 @ 58.97 mph
run 6....10.60 @ 58.88 mph

we tried doing a burnout in the water but really made no difference so we stopped doing them. now we'll play with gearing before the points opener on may 2nd.....Coles car is in the paint stages at some place called "Deuce Heaven".....we'll have them both making runs side by side at the reunion.....should be a cool experience for all of us.......here are a couple videos............
