I've got an original M22 transmission in my Chevelle. When the car is cold and I shift into reverse and then back out of my garage, there is a clacking sound coming from underneath the front of the car (like a metal flapper). As soon as I stop, it goes away. It does not do this in 1st gear or when the car is warm. I'm not positive it's the transmission but that's when the problem arises. Any ideas? Help!
