That is a peach.

"Unmolested"

The NC Blue Chevelles seem to come available every once in a while, and a few nice survivors around.

Albert, here is a '69 Chevelle that I had for a parts car that was equipped with a clock but had no gauges.

Great car BTW.....Not my favorite color but I'd love to have it in my garage.

IIRC, when gages were ordered from the factory, the clock was part of the package....but if gages were NOT ordered, the only way you could get the clock was as a dealer-installed accessory. So, I'm sure there were quite a few of them installed at the dealerships on idiot light cars.

Also IIRC, passenger side outside rear view mirror was the same story, dealer installed accessory only, not available factory installed.

Love this quote from the craigslist ad for the subject car...."Car has never been apart so build sheet is still in car". OK, buddy, can I get that in writing?

My black 69 SS has clock/no guages. Maybe it was a Southeast thing?????

"Like a hole in my head" ...if only I had a car for every time I've said that!

I'd love to make this my driver!
