Rare 69 Z/28 color combo at Mecum

Never saw this combo before....Dover White paint and Orange houndstooth interior, black stripes?

The car was at Chevy Vettefest in fall of 2008 in Darren's 69 Z28 display.

------The Z mentioned was completely repainted since shown in Chicago due to the painter using bad quality clear. Many here on the board saw the car then and I want to make that clear. I had to use a second shop and pretty much strip the entire car. It is now absolutely killer. ......Bill S

This Z was indeed a standout in Darrens Z/28 display, and that is really saying something, considering every car in the display was outstanding!

I can relate, we are going to totally repaint the 69 Daytona Yellow/ Yellow Houndstooth BB Camaro we are currently doing due to poor prepwork and body fit. gotta make it right though

I think the black stripes actually compliment the black basketweave in the seats quite well.
