Wouldn't Chevelle be a better name.
Then they might fulfill the plans of the UTE pickup and call it a El Camino. Jan |

If the brass were thinking at all, they would have built a 2 and 4 door Chevelle instead of the Camaro. In one model, you have the retro car, the muscle car, and a 4 door for those who want it. There would be room to seat five and there would be no need for the G8 which isn't breaking any sales records any way. There have to be a lot of cost saving in this idea.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now. ![]() |

Turned in the wifes 06 CTS and bought her a G8 a couple of months ago. A really solid car and so far no problems. We just returned from a road trip out east to Maine and Mass and averaged almost 27mpg with the V6. Not too bad for a 4000lb car.
