Default 1968 L78 396 - 375HP Engine

I have a standard bore 4 bolt block casting number 3935440 dated F-10-8. The block has been cleaned and magged and will remanin standard bore. I have the 3919840 heads all redone dated F-17-8 and F-18-8. I also have the 6223 crankshaft all cleaned ready to go with new bearings, new set of standard bore speed pro pistons and rings, high volume oil pump, new freeze plugs, 3/8 rods (not dimpled) and factory dipstick. $4000 for this set up and can be reached at 330-770-2517. This engine is all apart for inspection.

I believe that the front pad had been restamped and their is no vin on it. What is on it is T0628MQ but I don't believe it is an original stamp. That is my own opinion from what I have seen over the years. As far as the condition of the block it is in excellent condition.

I do have an original set of dimple rods with the pistons if somebody wanted to reuse them instead of the pistons and rods I'm offering with this block. You will just need to buy a set of rings for them.
