I am glad they finally came though for you. How many years back did they give you? And it may have been brought in from some other state. If this is the case, it is usually noted what state it came from into north carolina.

Thanks Resto, was certainly a surprise after all that time passed, but glad they did.
They went back to the original owner, which picked up the car just a few days after the dealer received it, Modern Chevrolet in Winston Salem, NC. He had the car 4 years and traded it back in. A lady bought the car from there and oddly it traded hands a couple of times after that and stayed on the same street with a different box number. The last owner bought the car in 1983 and kept it for 4 years until I purchased the car in 1987. The whole time the car stayed in North Carolina, and in the same town for most of it's early life. When I found the car it was at the Charolotte Auto Fair. I took it back home to Cincinnati where I was living at the time and it proceeded to lead a cushy life. Brought it to Arizona with me when I moved. Last edited by x33rs; 01-28-2020 at 02:57 AM. |

So cool they came through in the end also good thing you didn't cancel the cheque. Best of luck backtracking past owner names and looking forward to future updates! ![]() ~ Pete .
