Hey Jim, Hit the "OK" button anyways and let the chips lay where they fall! These are only cars and it is only talk!

About 10 years ago I decided I wanted to sell my 72 Cheyenne SWB for a musclecar, preferably 4spd. Wanted a "Melba Toast." Found a 70 LS5 auto, dk green/green. Thought it would be "close enough", but couldnt get over the colors, and since it was a #s car, couldn't change anything on it. Early into the resto, guy I know came by wanting to sell his GTO. RAIII 4spd, Silver/black/black.

Didnt take long for me to think about it. 4spd and color combo had a lot to do with it, but the hideways and being able to open up the hood scoops from inside the car were the sellers. Those are "cool" factors a 'Velle can't provide.

The LS5 went to the NE, the GTO is still in the garage

I know it isnt L78 vs Judge related, but figure the discussion has already strayed
