I like that design, very clean and super strong! I'm thinking of the brake assy's, does running the bolts for the backing plates / bearing retainers into the brake area create any interference? I know the factory runs them the other direction, although it looks cleaner your way.

The step drill tip is excellent, they work great for stainless sheet metal as well.
