Dave, What could NHRA possibly have thrown together, so as to try to have something compelling for the fans to get excited about (NOT!!!).

My friends at Hancock & Lane Racing (Div 6 Sportsman) recently contracted with GM to build the first eCOPO all electric Camaro drag car. This car was revealed at SEMA and will have exhibition runs at the Winternationals in two weeks.
They tested last weekend at Phoenix and ran a 10.08......at not full power

As a result of of building this "concept" eCOPO, Lane would up with a NEW 2018 427 COPO Camaro which he will race in Stock Eliminator (I think). Pretty sure this BLACK (painted) gas COPO spent time at Richard Freeman's Shop...but I dont know the details.

I would love to see an ECopo run in Factory stock. Can you imagine the torque that car has!

NHRA has to do something fast as the ship is sinking in prostock.

They are running mountain motor prostocks at a few races this year.

Bring the scoop back!! They need to make the cars tuneable again and make them look like a

real car and the driver must drive more.

Richard Freeman has allot going on at his shop and all the other things that company does.

Awesome to see Megan Meyer win!

We are becoming fast fans of Alex Laughlin, he put both of the Summit cars on the trailer yesterday - one with a holeshot I believe. He's got some unique talent in that he can jump from a Radial car at a $50k event in GA, to a pro-modified car, to a pro-stock car....and win in any of them. We'd much rather watch him than Tanner Gray - who appears to have disappeared into the NASCAR abyss....

Megan Meyer is doing well and has such a great attitude! She is very supportive of her team

mate's.

Alex can drive anything with wheels. I think he won Promod two weeks ago in the

Vette? Can't wait to go the races and see them live! Oh...and get autographs on new

postcards. Like to go to Virginia Nats this year.
