Les, you read it correctly, but interpreted it incorrectly. (How's that for lawyer-speak! )

The manual tranny R/T gets the variable cam timing 375 horse 5.7 liter hemi.

The automatic R/T gets the variable displacement 5.7 liter hemi with 370 horse.

The SRT gets the 6.1 liter 425 horse hemi (or more when they put the 392 in it later)

Clear as mud!

Thanks Steve I didn't notice the RT V. SRT designations. I knew I was misreading something I just didn't know what it was.
SRT 425 HP, RT 370 to 375 HP got it. Ford GT 500 is 500HP or 540HP in the KR edition or 600 to 725 HP in the Supersnake. I was a passenger in the 725 HP Supersnake prototype and it is lights out blindingly quick. Feels much stronger than my 08 Viper.

Not in the first batch of 4000 plus cars. Maybe next year, but this first years is auto only and srt 425hp only. When the top drops and the clutch pedal appears..............so will my money.

Sure, but he claimed there was no stick, which isn't the case. It's just a matter of months.

Can we trade the sunroof for 75 more HP???? I like their slogan "Challenge this". I think Ford already has and I think Ford wins by virtue of building 500 and 540 HP Mustangs for about the same price?

Just drop one of these Arrington built 426's in the engine bay and it's bye bye Stang!

HEMI 426 Late Model This is our modern twist on the classic 426 that dominated NASCAR and the road in the muscle era. 585 HP with 560 Ft-lbs. of Torque. 30 % Increase in Torque and Power over the stock 6.1 HEMI at 160 mph. Both while maintaining a smooth ride! We have installed this engine in a Chrysler 300C and run it as an everyday car. The engine is comfortable and quiet with normal use, but ready to jump out of any stoplight and tear up the middle lane. "The drive ability is amazing".

We have also run it at NASCAR's Martinsville Speedway here, and the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte to test it under more extreme conditions with great success. This engine is truly a great combination of power, performance and comfort.

Day 2 new Challenger!

Here is a link to Arrington. Arrington Engines

It says to "call for price". Probably some sticker shock involved! Top shelf engine I'm sure.
