[ QUOTE ] That was Jack Rousch making that pass at Port Columbus. I just happened to be there to see it. I was shuttling rental cars back to Rickenbacker. There were 2 Mustangs, Old Crow piloted by Rousch, and another Mustang that he recently sold, but I didn't catch the name or the new owner. [/ QUOTE ] The original "Old Crow" was flown my C.E. "Bud" Anderson of the 357th FG. He was a triple ace in WWII and Chuck Yeager was HIS wingman. I have met this fine American on several occasions and his stories will blow your mind. His recount of each kill is incredible. See his awesome web site . You can spend hours on it. It is very well done. BTW, he and his son flew a combat sortie together in Vietnam. His son is a retired Viper driver here in the valley. ![]() [/ QUOTE ] I read Bud Anderson's book a few months ago and it is fantastic. |

Glacier Girl is in fact the P-38 that they dug out from under the ice in Greenland. Neat story, only wish they could retreive more of them.

Somebody asked for a Spitfire?
![]() Probably the most famous Spitfire still flying as it has never been fully rebuilt. 7.5 German kills.
