Funny thing about the 68, it's a low mileage numbers match 4sp car. Has had a frame off (paint job as opposed to restoration), the red that peaks through is the original paint. It has never been painted, just some primer and dirt. The guy started to paint it in 1986, stopped in 1987 and here it sits ever since.

The piano has Chicago on it and some name I couldn't read, I may go back and drop a bill on that.

Is this a 1968 firebird with a 69 trans am front end?

Yes, that is what it was. The car was wrecked later after the pic. The fenders burned in a building fire along with several GTO's, the hood belongs to some one local here now and has been stored since he got it.

That should have been " some one else local now has the hood".

This car is down at the end of my block. Been sitting there for at least 15 years, but at least he got rid of the Winnabago that was sitting next to it for almost as long.
Some of the neighbors arn't real happy about it, but he insists that "Someday, blah blah blah..."

Not quite a backyard find, but I just bought a '69 Ram Air IV Firebird. It was in a backyard when I picked it up.

I know it's a four door, but still looked cool. It has a very deep and eye catching blue and white paint scheme that isn't turning out in the pic, was raining and I had to lighten the pic so much it lost it's deep blue look.

Found in west Tulsa yesterday.
