Tommy you will LOVE DHL Was with them for 15 years as a fleet supervisor working 16 hours 6 days a week That company is run by a band of gypsies They are a non union company. They WILL break airborne sooner or later to get rid of there union they bend the rules and break the law all the time
VERY POOR MANAGEMENT after getting hurt on the job I was pushed out the door like an old rag I would not and will not do things their way to break the law to save a few dollars and don’t even get me started on how they run their airline fleet Don’t know how they get away with it but sooner or later the FAA will shut them down I would love to see them go out of business Have seen way to many people put their heart and soul into the company and end up with nothing but heart aches A very poor company to work for

Norm, I started working for Airborne when I was 23 starting as A driver then lead driver and eventually supervisor over the entire fleet which is owned by A contractor. We have no unions in Airborne down here like the stations up North. All fleets are contracted out down here. Since DHL took over, all our procedures have changed and become much more complicated although The fleets are still owner/operator contracts. I haven't found any positive things about DHL yet and that includes all that ugly Yellow they are "trying" to make us wear. I had been working elsewhere for awhile and just recently hired back in with my contractor.. Well see how things go for A while.

Work for General Motors at the Technical Center where it all begins. Design and Engineering. Mechanical Controls such as Electronic Throttle Controls, Shift Controls, Clutch Controls etc. Various models include 2006/2007 STS, Deville and others I can not say. Been there since 1990. I am 38 now. Alot of Design is being shipped overseas. Kind of scary.
